Shark Week 2011 Discussion thread.

Interesting, looks like a female white shark took a bite.


I'm glad Discovery Channel released something this week about how shark attacks are rare, and ciruclated a list of things that kill more people ethan sharks very year. Instead of waiting until a week after, maybe that should be the message DURING SW.

Maybe next year they will have a show that brings more attention to the whole shark finning situation.

I liked the show about great whites off cape cod, it was cool to see sharks in waters where I've swam.

I saw a few hours of it....you guys are all correct. Way to much about attacks and not enough about research/new discoveries etc. They had too many re-runs and need new content each year if this is truely gonna be a dedicated week of programs.
