Sharks that should be banned from public sale

Ken hit it on the head. Claiming to 'save' the shark by putting it in another poorly sized home shoots that video down before the message is heard.


As for one of Jay's comments - many of the sharks in danger fall under protection already. It's not like you can just collect anything you want. Even most of the 'common sharks' fall under regulatory permitting to catch/keep.

It's been slow - nobody's gotten anything cool lately to post about - I just ordered the skimmer for my new pool. I'll post pics in about 6 weeks once I receive the lemon and whitetip from Josh. Then we'll have something new to talk about. Until then... revive old threads!

I picked up a 3 guitar fish the other day. I am not sure if they are sharpnose guitar fish or the common guitar fish (R.typus) There about 12" really cool looking. when I get my camera cable back from my sister I'll put up some pics

Thats a little harsh. Why can't they be legal with proper certification? Plenty of people are terrible parents and we don't go banning other people from having kids...

to go a bit offtopic - are many of the older shark forum regulars still around? i'm back in the hobby after a bit of a hiatus and the board, sadly, looks a bit dead.
