Yes, they still have that tank. There are like 100 Midas/Red Devils in there. It is unreal how many there were.

Chicago is my hometown, and between the Shedd and the Planetarium I spent more money there than I did on anything else. Worth every penny.

Note: If you are in Chicago, it is also worth a look to visit the Chicago Shakespeare theatre (it is on Navy Pier, and it is FANTASTIC; not as good as the Shedd or the Adler Planetarium, but a very close third!).

Has anyone gone. Im sure someone has. Were looking to take a 5 hour drive to go if its worth the trip. Any insite on this would be helpful. Would like to know if its worth the long drive or not. Thanks

been there done that...

You can actually buy a pass that gets you in the shedd, the field museum of natural history, and the planetarium (planetarium was AWESOME) or atleast you could last summer. It was well worth it. Chi-town is generally cool in and of itself. There's a rad book store there called Myopic. Make the drive.
