BTW - I just stopped into Petsmart and they have a Marineland 10g with day and night LED lighting, with filter, heater, etc for around $60. I might hop on that, since it's normally $89.
 
I noticed Petsmart did have a couple good deals when I stopped in one down here towards Indianapolis. It was very tempting to get a nice new tank and start a shellie colony. Good luck on yours and post us some pics when you get one up.
 
I actually have my 6 brevis in a marineland 20 LED. It was on sale, and I found a 15% off coupon on petsmarts website that you can print out, so I got it pretty cheap.

You have pics of the LED setup? Should look nice - I like the integrated night lights, should look nice over light colored sand and the light shells with darker shellies moving around.
 
I can't find the printable coupon on the site anymore, must have been for the holiday's or something, I think I bought it on black friday. Anyway here's what the 20g LED looks like.

Beautiful shellies - something to look forward too.
I think that Marineland tank will be worth it too.
 
I am looking at some "Carib Sea" african cichlid sand and the likes on Amazon - about $23 or so for 20lbs shipped.
Is this price on par? I like the black and white mix, personally.
