Shop lights?

I'm curious what people are using for bulbs in theirs? Here's it installed

Looks great! They'll work with any T8s (and t10/12s if u ever need a temporary spare lol) and 6500K daylight bulbs are perfect but I like to mix them with 10,000K actinics or those purple tinted ''powerglo'' bulbs to get a fuller spectrum. Daylight bulbs are bright but make the fish look a little washed out. My 90 only has one 4ft powerglo and fish look way different if I put them in there compared to my tanks with more 6500k bulbs

Someone posted one with a 10k bulb on another forum . I'm new to lighting so I don't know what any of it means but his looked amazing. Do they make 10k bulbs for t8s? Maybe doing a 10k with my 6500?

1 colormax
1 6500 daylight
Tank dimensions where 8'x4'x30"

I like that ^ does the color Max really make colors pop? I'm trying to get reds to Pop

i know that the colormax bulbs made a noticeable difference in my cichlid tank.

Ya the colormax and powerglo both provide a similar spectrum but they're best for bringing out reds IME. I just double checked the boxes and it turns out I have colormax bulbs in my 240 and powerglo on the 90 and 100. The colormax bulbs are newer but both are the same dim purple color. The actinics are the brightest by far tho but I would recommend one daylight and one colormax/powerglo

So one 6500k and one color Max or power glo where you recommend to Get oone?

Powerglo's always made blues pop for me. I used one on my old Dovii tank and his blues were stunning.
