I ordered a power glo. Came to 18$ with shipping. I'm trying to make reds pop

I added the Powerglo back to my tank and the red is better on my rainbows.

Is it just a power glow? I wanted to order two but ill try my 6500k with It first

Power glo bulbs by themselves are a little dim, I think you'll be happiest with the fuller spectrum from combining them

With the 6500k and the power glo? It seems like alotvof people use 6500k bulbs. I'm looking for a bright tank so I can see every detail on my fish and have their colors pop IV seen some salt setups like that.

Exactly, a power glo and 6500k is my favorite look for two bulb fixtures

i know that i put a 24 watt bulb t5 in a fixture that was for a 18 watt bulbs and it burnt out the ballast in about 30 mins

idk if t8 is as touchy but that was my experince with the t5 at least
