I'm a huge fan of wild fish staying just the way they are. I am also opposed to mutilated, dyed and most hybrid fish. But when an individual crops up that is by all rights a natural inclusion, why not celebrate it?!
It seems that every other species of aquarium fish has a short bodied counterpart lately. So much so that it does not appear to be just the random work of nature...How is it that so many SB fish happen to be found and rescued from predation in the wild?...There are no free roaming predators in the laboratories in the far east.

SB convict, too!:

SB fish are comical looking, they make me ROFL every time I see them. They are kind of cute but just not my bag of chips. To each their own though, they're lucky to have you knifegill.
