Short body pbass

I don't care for them either but to each their own , and he doesn't have to put this in the hybrid section he is talking about short body peacock bass, not a mix of a peacock bass x with some other fish .


you a search on you tube , you will find videos, do a search on google and a few pet shops over seas will show up ...
I know you have already seen a couple video's of short body peacocks because I put 2 in that rare fish thread.
 
Holy ****! I had never seen those before. That just looks wrong, like their backs are bent.
I have caught one or two Pbass in Florida that were shorter than a regular fish, but nothing like that.
 
Wow if people are doing this on purpose its just wrong. I hope these don't get popular like balloon mollys and rams!
 
Looks horrible to say the least ...defies all natural proportions that make pbass an amazing looking fish.
Saying that this fish looks sweet is like wishing that victoria secret would use midgets as models.
 
those pictures posted are very deformed fish and extremely disturbing looking I have a very healthy fish that came from a batch of hundreds of fry that were all healthy as well I personally know the breeder and know he would not purposely mutate any fish. I am not pro for those other short bodies that were shown in these videos and such its very cruel and terrible and UGLY. I will get some updated photos soon my fish is very healthy in a heavily stocked tank and he does well eats like a pig stands his ground and is starting to show some amazing colors.
 
Not very attractive IMO. Def either bad gene or hybrid. Also notice on all the pics and videos they all the "flag" on the tail (multiple red section, not just one solid section like most)
