Daphnia are among the best choices for fry food, once their mouths can take 'em. And they're found in a puddle near your house and easy to culture.

Here's an update on the best one I kept out of the batch. I had a few that faded but gave them to some friends. A lot of them died off since I didn't really have room to separate them.
