No surprise there.

Lots of lawyers that are being consulted, including ones with sports specialities, say the NBA has zero chance of winning. Will be interesting to see. (No, I can't name them, heard on the sports radio while driving so couldn't write them down)

I'm just surprised that a lot of people thought he was going to just be like Okey dokey - hurrrr ya goooo...she's all yours...lol. But seriously, ya...this should be good. I have an idea of how each side is going to approach the matter, but it should very very interesting to watch.

I still think, in the end, the NBA will get what it wants ... I just knew he would fight and draw it out ... the ownership part, not the ban part.

Who said that? Im assuming you mean on this thread but i dont recall a single post implying he'd just walk away. Not even the crowd thats pro him losing the team

The only thing anyones been over the top insistent on is that the NBA will get its way one way or another

I see protests and fallouts coming.

the main" fallout" is going to be the" PLAYER STRIKE" ...they want him gone , almost to a man..lets see what a court order does against a player walkout, not even 1 of the "legal experts" that have this thing going Sterling's way have even taken that into account , and imo, that's about all the owners need to make sure he NEVER manages the team again...

Nobody that I know thinks he will go quietly , but contrary to all the "legal experts", who are of course rooting for Sterling to go all APE-@#$$(so they can talk on tv ) how are you gonna MAKE the NBA let him run the team...after a lifetime ban....can ANYBODY find ONE SINGLE TIME...IN ALL OF HISTORY...that a court ruled against a major sports leagues lifetime ban?

None of the lawyers I heard the comments from were talking about the ban, they were talking about the forced sale.
