interesting tidbit on the NBC network news tonight , the NBA, in response to Mrs. Sterling's "plans" to keep her interest in the team released a statement that a vote of 3/4 of the owners was ALL that is needed to remove an(any) owner, reason not needed, and that ALL other ownership in said franchise is included in that vote , in other words the other 29 billionaires are gearing up(p.r. wise) to boot em out on their ear.....

I kind of figured that but I was just wondering if the big name celebs are paid to appear on her show or if it is pretty much handled as a publicity tour of sorts.

"big names" generally don't need the coin so I doubt people like KEVIN COSTNER or DONALD RUMSFELD get money , more the "source " types or minor celebs that are cashing in(think SNOOKI)

I would imagine that the network/show would pay for transportation and hotels...maybe even some per diem. It's the networks who are getting the "BIG" interview so they benefit the most from the higher viewers and which in turn brings them more money from sponsors who want to be shown in that time slot. Celebrities these days rarely do things for free. Heck, I've heard celebrities who are not nominated for anything at the oscars go the (extremely looooong - like 6-8 hrs of filming) and sit thru it so they can get those $20,000 to-go gift bags full of Ipads, vacations, watches, jewelery, etc.
On another, yet similar note...when ex-presidents, politicians, CEOs, etc. go and give 1 hr speeches they can make well into the 6 figures and even 7 figures if the draw is large enough. For example....Kim Kardashian (a nobody) was paid $1,000,000 (yes, one million) dollars to just make an appearance at a dinner in Dubai. Not to mention the free 1st class private jets there and back, free massive hotel sweets, and God knows what else. You know this trip didn't cost her a penny, plus she got paid. SO RIDICULOUSLY STUPID

I read she had a horrible time.

and that rich dude wasted his money. but he craps gold so i'm sure he didn't even feel a glitch in his wallet

Sterling offers his apology in the form of trashing Magic Johnson in his interview....and in related news, sidechick Stiviano crashed her Ferrari in a minor accident.
