Should I breed convicts to feed off fry

I have an extra 30g, was wondering if it would be large enough for a pair of convicts? feeders are 3.50 a dozen for 1/4" guppy fry here,so thought it may save me money?

well I am not sure they would taste great... why are you eating guppies...

no really what are you feeding them too? I have seen people do it... I know the LFS by me feeds ones people drop off to the catfish...

unless they are very small convicts, I think they are pretty fast, and might give the predator a workout for its food. Try it though I havn't yet.

It's a great use for a 30 gallon. I have done it in the past.

Yup it would be a great way to use the 30. I do this with my 29.

just be careful because the convicts develop spines that can injure when eaten. Only feed small convicts because of this.
