Didn't you just get this Venny pike in a trade? I seem to remember the thread not long ago. Jeff Rapps had large adult Vennies recently and they were really cheap, probably because they're so common, so I don't think you'll get much for that fish.

My lents have proven... difficult. Some days they're great, some days they're fighting each other, some days they're fighting everything else in the tank. They seem to change moods faster than any other cichlid I've kept. They are gorgeous fish, but they are challenging and frustrating. At this point I'm still trying to decide what I should do with mine.

My recommendation is to think long and hard about your goals with these fish. All the trade threads you've posted recently suggest that maybe you like to change up your stock pretty frequently. If so, trying to get the Lents may not be a direction you're ready to head in.

I think I'm gonna stick with my venny because he eats from my hand. I would like to find a female venny. I change my stock me I'm trying to find a mix I like. I was going to get rid of my red wolf and get another mala wolf but I know the pike and the mala will go at it. I think my stock of the silver aro,the venny, red wolf, and jag will be it for me unless I find a female venny

Forced pairings of Crenis almost never work. . . besides, what makes you think you have a male? Vennies usually don't sex out till well after they loose their juvie stripes and spots.
