I bought another jag a few months ago. It was so stressed, besides its shredded fins, it was almost pure black as a result of being constantly terrorized in the tank, so taking pity I bought it, and I didn't really notice it was also missing an eye till after the fact when it settled down at my house. It has quite the personality, fins are healed, and looks like he is going to be a real nice when grown. So I say take the chance if you like it or feel attached (as long as you can provide for it too)...reguardless of the deformities or abnormalities that may come with it. It's your fish, so really what matters is what you think, not others.

I wouldn't pay $1.00 for it. I'd take it for free, if I had the extra room. but still, you can get a new baby jag for $6 or $7.

I hate to see stuff like that. It's your call. If you want to care for it, then go for it. Otherwise it will probably not have a home.

Up to you, good idea if free. It can probably live in something small like a 55...for life, seeing how it is missing it's entire caudal section. You always talk about tank space though.....
