stuff him and let him sink. he has to learn that in the real world no one will pick up your slack without repurcusions. if you bail him out he learns nothing.

Why are you still stuck on the idea that my method "bails him out"? It doesn't, by any stretch of the mind....

lmao i made no reference to your post so :chillpill:.
how the hell did you manage to make that connection from that post you quoted and why are you on about me being "stuck" on your post when ive never made any references to your post?

When I was in Uni I had a similar situation.

We had to do a lot of presentations in groups and do papers and stuff. So, I was elected the "group head". Faced the same situation as yours numerous times.

First time I did the persons end of the project, told the professor and carried on. I don't want to look bad because someone cannot do their job.

After that, if he/she did not contribute again I kicked them out of the group.

But make sure the person doesn't get credit for work that they didn't do. Your not doing him/her any favors. Person will just continue to think that they can keep doing that for the rest of their lives.

Tough love.

Oh, and the positive of the situation if you want to look at it is this.

A slacker who does work does crap work. Better you do it to the best of your ability and get what you deserve than have to put his **** on your slides.

well we did the presentation and it went well. his excuse was that he had no way of getting the info to me when i gave him my email and my facebook account. he did surprisingly well for having no idea what he was talking about. the other person involved didn't want me to say anything but i told the teacher i never recieved anything from him. she said that since he did do his part of the presentation she would give him a grade on it but as far as the grade for the powerpoint he got a 0, which i guess is fair since he did do the presentation.
