Looks very thin, IMO. He doesn't have that "roundness" about him. And the price is nothing to write home about. There are plenty of better dats for cheaper up for grabs on the west coast.

I AGREE completely! I live in the Bay Area as well. I personally don't like the "unclean" pattern, and unsymmetrical on both sides, and its a bit thin, not robust! Just wait and check regularly on CL, or just grow some out. Buy cheap, choose the patterns you like. I've been able to grow 2" IT ($20) to 6" in about 6-7months on Massivore. Just all my constructive opinion.
I notice d and that was the main thing I wasn't fond of. I'll try and talk him down a bit, he gave me his last 5"-6" oddball clown loach the other day. I'm in no rush for another dat at the moment either. Thanks everyone for all of your input.
I agree there, I sold all of my mixed pattern ITs not too long ago for just that reason.
Ya, like shookONES said, he lacks that "roundness". That and the mixed pattern are keeping me from pulling the trigger.
i'd grab it in an instant! looks really beautiful though needs to be beefed up a bit. plus getting a datnoid to eat pellets is a big plus.
