Should I keep my synodontis petricolas?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They are not hurting anything being in there for now as my GT is still young and so are they. Hardly produce any waste and don't each much as they are small. If they don't become more active I will simply end up trading / selling them down the road.

I don't really want fish in the tank that aren't active or being seen

Synos are some of my absolute favorites! Can never get enough. I rarely see my nice green Euruptus, but wouldn't trade him/her for anything. Usually, the larger they grow, the more you will see them :)

How big is yours?

I see a load of active big synos. Give em time :)

Hang on to them, Phillip. They will become more active as they become sexually mature. I'm actually looking to add a large group to one of my 125's, to add some extra action to the tank. lol Trust me, you will regret getting rid of them, just know that this species takes some time to develop their personality in most set ups.

I'm hoping this will happen with my eupterus. probably taking out the very knotty piece of wood to make space anyway. so it's at maturity that they turn active?

Right on. I do regret giving my petricolas to my brother but at least I can still see them
