it wouldn't be right to post april fools thread before april 1st.
But, ON Topic: Donating to 'my' LFS would be a fate worse than death, especially an adult that I'd kept with the best care. I'd feel great, and not even hesitate about offering them to a good keeper though. This is commonly done with ALL animals... pay high price, relinquish to best home. Opinions differ, but that is my priority as a hobbiest- not a business. sometimes even that can backfire, but we live & learn. It's the successes that you cherish.
I had a very top bloodline working dog and lost the livestock to work him on. I loved him with all my heart & he was part of our family. He was perfectly obedient, but truly needed a job- he was created to WORK. I called the original breeder and found a lady with livestock who does working trials. She competed in top-level trials with him and told me that he was the best dog she had EVER worked or owned...didn't even need 'training'. He also got to breed a lot, LOL. It warms your heart, knowing your pet is better off.
You also make friends. She would give me a pup anytime, if my situation ever changed.
That's what I meant by "future trade", in previous post.

OFFER your fish to good people! It will lift your spirits.

dude are you in the hobby to take care of the fish or are you here for money because i do it for the love of fish and if i am undable to take care of them no point in killing them wen if you realy wanted to make a little money you could seriusly do dirt cheap and i garentiee some one will take it and make 60 or wetver some one wants for it, becuase killing is only gonna make you more depressed and you dont get anything out of it. and at least if they do go to a home they have a chance of life even if the person isnt "PRO" its better then a garentie death. if you had the choice get killed or go live in a forest away from everywhere you wont be living as well but atleast you aint dead. same with your fish they wont be in your good care but they will be cared for. because no one has a large enough tank for those fish unles they are in the hobby so just move them one or find a buddy that could care for them while you get your stuff back on track. and with massivor pellets thats to easy to take care of.

if you want to kill ur fish go for it more power to u. i bet everybody goes fishing and hunting and kills wildlife pet or not ur all killing liveing things i wouldnt give somebody something free just so they can make a profit thats just dumb and the ones that only want free fish are cheap and need to go pay for there own fish instead of expecting things free

If you're serious, you shouldnt be on this site, or keeping any live animals. We arent talking about a car here. Living, breathing, animals. You wouldnt be saying this if it was a dog.

This thread should be closed. You seriously think a grown man needs someone to tell him that killing his pets is not the right thing to do?

+1.
But apparently they do, since at least 2 people have agreed with the OP during the course of this thread. ****ing idiots.
