Should I let my FH's meet

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Actually, i'm upgrading the tank once they get to adult sized, they're just in a smaller sized tank as of right now due to personalities, I understand the size necessities and such and to be honest, I understand i'm asking for help, but you seriously come off as a narcissistic prick

You should have mentioned these things in OP bro, then save us the trouble ;) But narcissism implies only caring about oneself -- RD was just trying to help you out (the opposite of being narcissistic), he just doesn't sugar coat his advice is all :)

..... and Barrett, what makes you think that he wasn't calling you a prick? :grinyes:

I didn't state those in my OP because that's not what I was asking about. I wasn't asking if my tank was the right size, I was purely asking whether or not there would be drama between the two and if removing the barrier at this size was a bad idea or not.

I'm just more worried about waking up to a fish dead due to one of the others. In that saying, which do you think would most likely win the fight?

Joel = Joey?

Hard not to respond in the manner that Barrett and I have when reading something like that. Considering that many of these fights are to the death. And seeing as you asked, if this was Vegas I would be putting it all on the female.

I mean to be frank, you have no reason to use the specific aggressive choice of wording ss you did, instead of asking genuine, caring questions, you instead came with an approach that just made you out to sound like a dick. I came here with questions expecting answers and if more information is needed then that’s fine. I’d also be monitoring them for the whole day to be safe, just because I have questions doesn’t mean i’m moronic in the whole aspect lmao

You legitimately practically said that it’s hard not to act like a dick to my question because I don’t know something. I appreciate your help but you seem to have some self learning

Fair enough, though it's just surprising that you know all these other things about keeping FH but not one of the most basic and well publicized (that they generally don't like other fish and hate each other, and there's a high chance they'll tear each other up if put together in the same tank), so we naturally assumed you were a FH newbie and thus gave you extra advice that we mistakenly thought would help you out. But nobody was trying to be a prick, just saying.

Funny that you feel the way that you do, considering how you returned the favor in spades. Prick, dick, and a word that you didn't even understand the meaning of, narcissistic. Too funny. I gave you solid sound advice, no beating around the bush, AND I have kept several FH and actually know what I am talking about. Buy hey, feel free to do as you please.

You should have another tank to put one of the fh in you should probably keep them separate even with the barrier in there you are creating a pretty heavy bioload with two of them in the same tank especially when they become full grown
