hey payaraman i would just leave it unless it turns out to be a tumor. my first pacu had growths on his sides, we cut them off, and he died cause they then got infected.

good point take it to a proffesional to get it checked in the uk you can get it looked at by a vet

get an air powerd air pump and put the fish in a bucket take it to a free charaty vet ive took my tegu lizard there yea she doesnt need water but there was other people in there with fish, caimen, monkeys, snapping turtles
