Should I rescue a poor 2ft Catfish?

Sweet I just got off the phone with the LFS and I got the Leiarius for 39.99 and they threw in the 13"-14" Pacu for free

, more to come.sweet pickup on the cat.. but i second the no pacu... u will regret it eventually... around 15 years ago when i lived in montana i had a buddy who had one that weighed over 40 lbs. pacus get crazy big and crap like theirs no tomorrow.. but either way gl with your rescues!
I had 3 pacus with my achara. Had the pacus for over 7yrs...things wouldn't let me put anything new in the tank, and beat up my achara. Tried making him a safe haven in the tank, but to no avail they were determined to get kitty fish....I liked the catfish better than the pacus....they went to a better, bigger home (gave them away to someone who had a bigger tank with other pacus). Pacus are extremely hardy tho
