Should the Washington Redskins change their team name?

I'm really not trying to generalize. I speed read the entire thread and don't recall who said what, just the general vibe. I don't feel Im wrong about the general vibe.

Well, based on what happen with g@y, we clearly do change to satisfye a few. I may not agree with it but if someone tell me it bothers them I try to respect it.

Since we were the main two talking I assumed that the "if it's not everyone it doesn't count" remark was directed to my statement.

Don't know about your area but I still hear that term used frequently and very few seem to have an issue with it.

Exactly what I've been saying. Where is the line drawn?

As a whole I think anyone that has lived any type of pirate life should be offended by the Bucs.

For the record, I don't think anyone should demand anything. They should let their displeasure be known and then move on with their life.

On the flip side, the redskins owner did not need to be a jerk and comment at all either. Just added fuel to the fire. The guys a total tool anyways. Worse NFL team owner period. That's a fact

That we definitely agree on. He could have handled it better but speaking from personal experience saying I'm sorry you feel that way is not well received. At least not when apologizing to the wife.
