Should we ban the pacu?

I would only ban it to the general public and leave them available to those who can accommodate and adult sized pacu.

we actually ban selling them red-tail catfish, and iridescent shark's in my LFS because of there size issue. I feel it's a step in the right direction, however we will sell it to someone with the mean's to keep it when they reach adulthood.

I would suggest that both of these perspectives are versions of regulation, not banning...

Regulating is a way to enforce responsibility... banning is a way of removing freedoms...

I commonly support ideas of regulating as a means of preventing the irresponsible ones from causing harm... but I rarely support the idea of a complete ban as this punishes everyone for being irresponsible...

I don't think I shold be treated like a pinhead just because that guy is a pinhead... (generic "that guy", no finger pointing)...
