No problem thanks Matt yeah Multi's are great shellies and they breed like rabbits, in a community I'd say be careful because these dudes are little but have huge aggression problems..

I would do a species only tank with the Multi's like a 20gal long..

Yeah i love my Lelupi they look really good and when you do decide you want some let me know i have some fry i can send you..

Wow, thanks! I'd love some, but I don't think my parents would be too thrilled. AP exams and finals are all within the next month and a half so they won't even let me look at my fish tank without getting angry. They said I can do whatever I want during the summer, so maybe we can talk about this further in a month or two, just keep in touch with this thread. MFK has become my refuge from studying. I'm on this basically every break I have between studying.

Wow, just the thought of college scares me. It's 4 years more that I have to wait until I can get my own place and get a huge 200 + gallon fish tank.

On a side note, let's see some more fish pics... hey that sounds like fish-sticks.... hey that sounds like fish-.......... yeah, just a little southpark for you guys.

I have a small 20 gal that I keep Gold Oces' in,

Only Lake Tang. cichlids I own.

Where do you guys get your snail shells? I don't think that my lfs has any at most times (I could probably special order) and I wouldn't want to put those craft store ones in my water as it would probably leech some sort of cheap chemicals. And the ones on the online site cichlidbreeding.com are sold out. I would really like to go as authentic as possible, so I'm most interested in these Neothauma Shells. I still have a month and a half till school is out and I can put this tank together, but it would be nice to have the stuff beforehand.

Neothauma Shells will definitely have to be ordered and will cost you. I use escargot shells that I pick up in the seafood section at my local grocery store. The cost around 7 bucks for 15 or so shells and come with a can of escargot, but i just donate that to food drives. I then boil the shells for a minute or so, and dry them.

Go to the saltwater section of your LFS, I'm sure there are empty snail shells there.
