I consider myself very fortunate. I drive through redwood forests everyday to get to work. The only downside is the bear that occasionally raids the garbage cans, and we did have to relocate 7 raccoons who were eating the outside cat's food. They are now park rangers in a nearby national park.:)

I don't blame them for wanting to live there..lol it is so tranquil and absolutely gorgeous.. i once walked into my barn and saw my 5 barn cats eating their food but #6 was a raccoon right in the dish shoulder to shoulder with them..raccoons favorite "other" food is cat food.. they went for a ride too ..to a big park near by..but they will be back ... the cat food is over whelming.. i just could not have them in the barn with the horses and in their hay in the loft.. but i never hurt them either..
