We don't have far to walk to view the forks of the beautiful Smith River shown at 3:10. The river is part of our back yard. We are very fortunate to live in this beautiful area. The ocean and lighthouse and harbor are 15 minutes away, and the giant redwood grove is a mile down the road.

I went through my pictures and ended up with way too many, so sorry for the picture overload....

Like your elk picture. There are elk herds that roam our area. They seem to be more in the flatter areas. No matter how many times we see them, we never get tired of watching them. None where we live...we do have deer and bear walking through our yard.
No, it's the neighbor's (or at least the neighbor contracted it), most big commercial farms use them. We only have five acres of trees, I drag them up to the barn by myself. It is pretty intense when they get that close, it makes the whole house shudder.
