This is very true, a suped up viper kicks any veyron's @ss. Which is why dodge has the best sports cars.

ill love to see the chevy or dodge engines go through the same abuse as the new turbo v6 engine from ford, n see if they do better than ford, and show that ford does not make better engines then any one..... and its going in the new f150's n they look nice too

By the time you suped up a viper to go 268MPH you might as well just of gotten veyron.

Ford GT over viper any day.

I would love to see those tests performed by a third party... not Ford. What do you think the videos will show when it was made by them? And what's the point of comparing the "best truck" when you use a middle of the road truck? That motor has 420 lbs./ft. torque. Dodge and Ford both have 800 lbs./ft. diesels. Gm has the duramax and allison combo, and the cummins is a downsized semi motor that is virtually bulletproof. If you are going to compare "the best", then you need to actually compare the best. soooo... what's the point?

$1,600,000 for a veyron, and thats not even the super sport

$90,000 for a 2009 viper ACR + $80,000 for a 1,200hp turbo kit = $170,000. And with that much power the viper is faster than the veyron.
Ya, $170,000 is soo close to $1,600,000.

And get your facts straight, VW makes the veyron.

Naw--with ballasts full and the wedge down, it's slow. We put on a prop that makes for a more powerful take off, but slows us down even more. We have quite a wake---the kind that makes it not fun for other boats in our area. For us, it's all about the wake, so our boat is perfect for wakeboarding and wake surfing. I'm an old, uncoordinated 62 yo who is happy to just get up on a board. No tricks for me, but I have a lot of fun. We usually have huge wakes to play on.

Yeah, I hear that. I have a little 20 ft. searay. I switched it from a three blade prop to a four blade for skiing. Completely killed the top speed, but it gets up and goes pretty good.
