Nice black how much you paid for that little guy?

808living, did you get a chance to pick up a black aro like you wanted? I seen one at Kalihi pet's, it was about 10" and they are asking $475... Let me know if you get one, i'm thinking about getting a Jar and putting it with my two peacock bass.

Nah blacks are to over priced down here:( I just stick with a jar. Good luck with the jar and the pbass.

Yup totally over priced! How long have you had your jar? I didn't get one yet, once I install my sump i'll get the jar, plus i'm waiting for them to go on sale... What is the temp that the water has to be...70-80 degrees? I still gotta get a heater too.

Lol idk about the temp, my tank is outside and the water gets to about the 70's. I dont have a thermometer. I inherited my jar from a family member, so I had it for about 2months i guess.

I just set this tank up 2 weeks ago. I'm looking for another large plant and a nice piece of driftwood. I don't want to crowd the tank with decorations. I'm also planning on switching out the silica sand and replacing it with some type of natural river stone.

very nice looking tank and great shot...this picture is magazine ready..

congrats

I ended up giving the older Jardini to a friend,
and pick up this little guy. it was pretty beaten up when i got it.
it looks really banged up to me, are those going to scar or would they heal?

excellent picture too, I like it

after seeing all your tanks and comparing it to my plain tank, its pretty obvious that i'm jealous..:jaw: i was thinking of putting sand into my tank first.. my question is, which is better white or black? but i am a bit hesitant because i am not sure if the undergravel filter really works and what if the accumulated waste will just hide under the sand.. that would make my fish's life miserable.. :nilly:i'm also planning to have a black background for my tank.. i have a 6 inch golden jardini.. what light color is best suited for my aro?:bling:

p.s. besides your personalized filters, it must really be hard cleaning your tank right? i mean with all the ornaments in the tank.. :headbang2

Here it is: 180g
