Cool thanks for the info, how big is that male?

And thanks for the compliment on angel, got it @ a fish auction for a couple bucks. Big difference from when I bought my first koi angel pair.

I'm really starting to enjoy the angels, I have this one, a larger koi and a black/silver marbled dude and I've noticed I'm watching them more and more each day.

The male is about 10 inches..so it will be quite a while down the road before i try the breeding .. but she is growing fast ..he was a rescue.. got him off live feeders etc.. because of him i bought another baby so i could see what it was like to raise one.. lucky it is a girl..so they're may be a chance.. yes your angel baby is absolutely the cutest..nice having an angel tank,,;)

The parents have been making babies for 3 years now u have seen their pics in various threads or in my avatar of the past. When i say culled i just ment seperate and sorted threw but well no sorting or at least not now.I did not remove mom or dad i wait til dark sneak in the fish room with a little flash light and i got a old python tube twist tied to a stick i have a half filled 20 gal waiting under the 125 and i start a sucktion locate the sleeping fry and pump them down to the 20 and that's it i have done this many times now and can usualy do it befor mom and dad can wake up to fight.

I do remenber now seeing the pair before in a couple of pictures on threads.. i just get excited seeing baby red devils everytime is like the first time..you must be the only one breeding the RDS though ..never saw anyone else have RD babies.. that is quite a neat way of transferring the babies..much better then netting and or removing mom and Dad who would tear up the place fighting back.. i think that is so fantastic that your Rds get along with and with out the babies..great pair you have there..makes you proud!;)
