DANG IT, i typed that wrong, its a 400 Pontiac Big Block, its not the stock, but we have the stock in the garage stored up, in a couple years me and my dad are going to rebuild it maybe, and sell the car and original engine.

What do you want to know zoo diver?

Yeah I figured it might be a typo or an aftermarket engine.

I was looking a '70 GTO "Judge" a couple of months ago. It looked like the one below but it was black. It also had a 400 ci. engine in it and was completely restored.

Cool I used to have a '71 a couple years ago. Cool cars. Hated the mushy steering/suspension but of course with ones that have been restored you don't have that.

I would actually buy another if most in my price range weren't rusted beasts that needed quarters/rockers/floors/trunk replaced because of rust..lol

i really don't like it when people say pushrods are "old Technology".

The re-introduction of over head cams to the mainstream american markets in the last twenty-odd years has created the myth that its a newer design. Both engine types have been used in cars for about the same amount of time, so to call one "new" or "old" is dumb, when both are old.

i'm currently talking to a guy about the possiblity of importing myself a 1993 silvia S14-real s14, right hand driver and all. i've been off the track for awhile after selling the supra, so this 450 hp helper can help me get back. if any of you are experienced in importing cars, does $6000 sound about right for the shipping in and legalizing of it? not includeing the car of course, it's ethier this or a cheap r32 skyline, not even gt-r, probably gts. i want something imported anyways, screw these left hand driver seat cars.

Just had to show you this as a found it today.. and figured you'd drool over it.. :)

O GOOD LORD IT'S GORGEOUS!!!!, great phtographer too, best pictures i have ever seen of a skyline, and i belong to 3 skyline forums, lol. the amazing thing though is that he wants 51k for it which is understandable in america, but i have seen 3 cars that look simalar to this one in the UK being sold for $15,000-20,000-of course i changed the price from euro's to USD.

2003 Roush 380R or the 2004 Roush 440A
Do I win a prize? :D
I like Nissans though. I'd love to own an S14, S15 or even an R33 or R34.

unless you're talking about drifting......which is just a waste of tires and is the slower way around the track :D
I take it you've never even been to a D1 event, let alone sat in the passengers seat as you enter a sweeper at 200kmh and watch the driver hook 4th and flick the wheel sending the car sideways.... :WHOA: :D

As said before it is a waiste of tires...the fact is that unless the angle of the turn is more than 90 degrees its slower than turning regularly...and if you do drift every corner your tires will be burnt out by the second lap of a real race...plus drift cars arent exactly built for the straight line street races either...they just look good...you have to spend so much time tweeking the break balance, and springs and ect...that the car is almost sure to understeer into a tree when you do try to in the real world....its plain stupid!:nilly:

oh god, 20deep how old are you?

if u spend the money needed for suspension, its not a waste of tires. but whatever makes you feel better, say what u want about it.

Here's a few videos from saturday the 18th... all the tandem drifting are my friends/leaders of the local comp

This is the best and the worst:

...and another is coming for everything inbetween!

UPDATE: Here are the single runs.

if u consider it dumb, thats up to you. but if u knew anything about it u could have different opinions about it.

here is a mods list for my drift car...

SUSPENSION:

starting with the front...

inner and outter tie rods
tention rods
sway bars
strut bar

rear:
sway bar
subframe spacers
rear upper control arms
rear toe rods
rear traction rods
2way LSD

All around:
powered by max coilovers fully adjustable and stiff like a monster

proper camber, proper setup, less tire wear. i can drift the entire day on 1 pair of tires in the back...

engine wise:
Sr20det
FMIC
oil cooler/relocator
s15 T28 ball bearing turbo
full solid engine/tranny mounts

as i have said before, think what u want 20deep, and on top of ur last comment, i daily drive my machine and it handles GREAT on the freakin streets...
