The first tank I got from craigslist was actually a 360 gallon tank my wife went on there and bought it for one of my birthday presents.
The tank is acrylic and its measurements are 100 x 30 x 30 came with a welded stand, and 6 heaters, 5 magnum 350 filters, 4 Huge boxes of Misc fish stuff
she paid $500 for it ( setting it up in a couple months )
I bought a 75 gallon tank came with glass tops, 2 Penguin 350 filters, 200 watt heater, gravel Nice peice of fake drift wood , a very nice home made wood stand
paid $150 for it

I made a deal with a guy who was moving and he had a 120 cubed tank A-side homemadestand w/lids. And I traded him a 75 gallon tank only that I got for $30 and so that's how I got my monster central and south American cichlids
Got a complete salt water setup for 150 dollars. Includes 55gal tank (truview), black stand, matching canopy, 2 fluval filters, 2 heaters, complete salt water setup including fish...was a great deal. Didnt spend anything on it till now since want to change it to a freshwater setup.
I picked up my 220 gallon from a military guy shipping out. He had it listed as a 250 gallon for $500. I went to look at it, It measured out to be a 220. So I offered him $250 and he took it. I got tank, stand, 55 gallon sump, mag7 pump, and the worst light fixture ive ever seen. So I added my heaters, Sand, and water. I upgraded the pump. And I love it.

125 Gallon ¾ acrylic for 120$ Needed in tank overflow resealed, bulk heads, a lot of polishing, full stand and top, w/d sump filtration, heating. All and all I literally just got the tank itself and needed everything else.
Stand cost almost 200$ to build. That includes all wood, hard ware, sealant, acrylic for top, etc.
Lighting cost 30$ from Home Depot. Standard fluorescent 4 light.
W/D Sump cost about 30$ to construct and 45$ for the bulk heads. Another 15-20$ for plumbing (Used CHOMPERs w/d design http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=348253)
Mag Drive 2 and Mag Drive 9.5 150$
Sand cost about 4$ and the pots were like 2$ Already had the lava rock.
These are rough estimates since I didnt keep documentation of all my purchases but after all is said and done, this cost me about 600$$-650$.

i got my 200 for $550 on craigslist. it came with the stand, lights, filter, lid, driftwood, etc.

Not off craigslist but my step dad just got a 55gallon tank from the LFS for $15 was marked as a leaker took it home filled it up and its been sitting with water for an hour no leaks. we'll see what it looks like tomorrow
