ooohh i love craigslist!
to date i have gotten:

1 40 gallon and stand free ( one trip) an old tank with thick heavy glass
(next trip)
a few weeks age i took an hour drive to get 6 cherry shrimp..witch are spendy around here.

so an hour later i get there and there are 12 shrimp! woot
then they offer me 3 storbi corys....witch are now busy breeding in a friends tank, and one glass cat....woot!!!
and as i was leaving they offered me 2 10 gallon tanks..one with a hood and a 40 gallon long tank!!

ill have to get pics of the 40 long..its neat with a tinted back and bottom! all in perfect condition^_^... I LOVE CRAIGSLIST

360 acrylic for $500 with 5 magnum 350 filters, someone scored!

been looking for deal/steal for a 300G but have yet to come across one.
 
Yesterday, someone gave me a free oscar cichlid around 9 inches from Craigslist. In fact, this is the most impressive oscar I ever seen. It is nice looking wth a solid dark black color with orange markings.

I always thought oscars were kind of unattractive but this free one changed my mind.
 
I got 2 55 gallons (complete setups with stands) for $100 total plus a box each of extra (mostly junk) stuff. I love those boxes though.

2 30 gal bow fronts for 30 each complete set ups (no stand though)
and a 90 gal plexi with a magnum 350 canister and heater for $70

I'm checking on what this guy says is a 60 gallon bowfront complete set up tomorrow for $90

and.. a 50 gal for 60 dolars with an iron stand, two hob filters and a heater.

I LOVE CRAIGSLIST!!
 
Well it seems that alot of these deals are better than the one i got, but for where i live i feel i did exceptionally well since everything is so pricey.

I bought a 75 gallon tank with stand, light, glass top, magnum 350, magnum 250, powerhead, 4 aerators, 75 pounds of gravel, decorations worth $100, and fish worth $50 for $200! All in immaculate conditions, not a scratch to be found!

Not only this but he threw in a 10 gallon with a filter and around 7 pregnant guppies for free!!

I am currently looking for a deal on a 40 gallon for my room.... If theirs 1 thing ive learned is to be patient!

I got 9 big goldfish for free. An elderly lady was giving them away for free to people who had ponds. Here is one of the big guy that I got from her.

First, I got a 40gal with solid wood stand, T5 Lights, skilter filter, gravel, plants, decor for $60.

Just got a 90gal with solid wood stand, lights, two emperor 400s, a huge amount of rock/gravel, 300w heater, python vacuam, misc supplies for $150.
