100 Gallon tank, $50 for the glass and $25 for the wooden stand

240 Gallon, $400. Came with metal stand, nice lights, and an fx5. Paid $180 to have it moved and $60 to have a metal shelf removed and 4 2"x2" square holes in the back.

Best deal I got was a 55 gallon tank for 40.00. Tank only no accessories

Now that I think about it I think it was off Giant Nickel paper not CL

I got my 55 with stand lights pumps (UGF but that's trash) heater & 100 pounds of cycled gravel for $100

I recently picked up 2 AC110s for $40, the guy offered to give me his 55 tank for free but I just have nowhere to keep it.

tank and stand were free from two different CL posts. Inhabitants decor and lighting probably about 200 bucks. Eheim filter about 250 I think.

12 von rio flame tetras
1 pair of apistogramma agassizi
6 skunk cory cats

Tank has changed a bit. It now contains a betta, some kubotai loaches, and harlequin rasboras. Lighting bit the dust 3 separate occasions. Soon to be part of my marine system I think.

kinda small, i know, but i love it. picked this up about a week ago, found on craigslist [obviously]. approximately 45 gallons, hexagon tank. oceanic brand. paid $125 for it, in excellent condition, looks BRAND NEW! [it also came with the miscellaneous stuff in the crate inside]. looks so much nicer in person! so very excited to get this set up, just need to find a stand first. won't cost me anything extra aside from the cost of the stand, as i'm transfering a tank. what will be in it is the contents of my community tank: 1 female betta, Glados; 1 halfbeak, Charlie; 3 small clown loaches; 2 sailfin balloon mollies; 2 glofish; 1 8" rhino pleco, Baracus. oh, and also my shrimp, 1 bamboo and 7 small shrimp [sold to me labeled "japonica" or something, but who knows?]. and lots of snails. also will be planted heavily along the back.

Here's my deals from CL: (Spent about 3 months trolling to get them all. I think they were STEALS)

Old style Tall Glass 150 - Tank only $75

Glass Standard 125 - Tank, 3 Glass Tops and (2) Magnum 350's (Used for polishing only) $75

Glass 220 - Tank, Metal Stand (Not using), Cascade 1000 Filter (Another Backup I guess) $250

3 Rena XP4's on CL for $55 ea.

Building my own stands into the wall during basement renovation so doesn't matter for tank only ones. Stand materials cost about $65 for all three.

Did have to add top cross braces to the 150 and 220 as they are the old style and didn't have any. That only cost about $25.

Picked up two sets of the three glass tops for 72" x 18" tanks on CL for $25. Had to buy extended glass sections to fit the 220 as it's 24". That cost $18 at local glass shop.

So that leaves me at still under $700 before I finished my PVC Overflows, SUMPs, Heaters, etc.

$700 isn't too bad for three large(ish) tanks!!! (Even if they are heavy as all hell)

My recent steals include a 150g with stand for $100. A 75g with stand, tops, lights and hotmag filter for $90. My most recent steal is an old school 90g. The 90g has 3/8" thick glass and was made without a center support--$40. The 90 is in the back yard full of water--no leaks yet :grinno:!!!!
