I told you already in your other tread. It's not a sub-species of lap as lap is already a sub-species of polypterus bichir bichir. Full name for lap is polypterus bichir lapradei.

You lap is a captive breed Nigerian variant. (Polypterys bichir lapradei "Nigeria"). It's not a sub-species but a regional variant.

It's better if you post side view pics.
