  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Here's my 220g. Stock is listed in "My Tank Setup".

I recently added a Rena xp4, so there is not nearly as much junk floating around in the water now as there was when I took this picture. Also the algae is really overgrown on the glass (It is a PITA to clean off so I have been procrastinating on it for the last couple of months)

I also have a 45g growout that is overstocked but didn't take pics of it yet. It's overstocked with:

4 x 4" Mono Pbass

1 x 3.5" Paroon Shark
1 x 5" Ripsaw Catfish

I wouldn't consider any of your tanks overcrowded.

here is my 8ft 300g

while the picture may not show all of them there are about 150 fish in this tank.

I did a remake of my tanks here and one did not take and I had to put all the big boys back in here as they went nuts in the 230g. A sw emergency forced me to turn one of my 100g here into a brackish tank so the residents from there went in here.

Thankfully there is a fish auction tomorrow where I can take up to 50 bags of fish to sell. So I will be able to drop down many of the now juvi sub adults I have grown from fry.

The tank looks cool but I am not to keen on doing 3x weekly wc.

I think when all my fish reach 2+ ft in size in my 450 then it may get a little tight in there. I might be adding a 2ft+ TSN to the 450 soon and will add some of my cats from the 225 in there too once they grow to a certain size.

there are 2 fun things about watching this tank

1-I believe that fish have a respect for each other depending on who can back who down. To this end I am most shocked at the spunk some of the smaller guys show and the respect they seem to have earned with the bigger fish.

2-I believe that fish will lay the smack down on smacktards who just have to be a badass and disrupt the peace. My blue line pike is a sneaky one, and I have watched him single out trouble makers and then while their back is turned at feeding time, he made them into dinner.

one other interesting side to this tank not related to food is how 4-6 couples are trying their best to claim a spot to make babies and they are getting interuppted all the time.

This morning at 7 am I begin to bag them for the fish sale and want to make sure I do not net some of the couples as they will be some of my money makers in days to come.:naughty:

WGMC3 what is the name of the fish in the center of the top picture????
I have only seen it once before and love it. the bigger one

How don't your fishies kill each other I had a 37 gal with one 2.5 inch jd and a 1.5 inch fire mouth my jd tried to eat him so I gave him away. Now it's just my 3.5 inch jd a 1.5 inch rubbe lip pleco a 4-5 inch peacock eel and 2.5 inch Raphael catfish. I'm going to upgrade soon.

Key words??!?
37 gallons
with almost 10 times that much water, there is a little more room for them to claim as territory...;)
