ya i love lightning
guess it comes from living in the lightning capital of the world lol
my dads been struck on the phone
mom was struck in the shower
and i was about 20 feet from a tree that got struck
made all my hair stand up
you could see right through the 3ft round tree after it was hit
all were ok lol
nice one=bigspizz;2131621;]We had some good ones this year...This one scared the crap out of my kids...They could see it through the curtains....The next day (they are 3 and 4) I taught them all about lightning, and they love it now...lol My daughter said just the other day "daddy, I hope the lightning comes back"...They are captivated now as apposed to being scared....

i too got struck wilst driving in this storm
luckily i was in a car<worst part was i was doing 70mph it hit top of windscreen, forked across the glass,binded me for a second, i s*#t a brick, lost control spun 4 times and stopped, was alone on carrigeway so no probs except shaking hands,,,hehe got home real quick and used the shaking hand to my advantage.....................................................had a vodka and coke<deff shaken not sturred

yes there was a wee bit os scorching but most was taken by the ariel, i was scary at the time but now i look back it was fun
