yes there was a wee bit os scorching but most was taken by the ariel, i was scary at the time but now i look back it was fun

Early last year Tasmania (State of Australia) had the biggest lightning strom in something like 50 years.. It was the clearest night and kilometres long showers of lightning. Sooo me being a lightning Fanatic climbed on the roof of my dads house which he was in bed Sleeping zzz.. and took some Amazing shots and videos of this stom however half hour through this amazing strom there was this Enourmous CRACK i droped dads 3000$ video camera 3m to its death on some 20mm thick concrete and almost fell off myself. This bolt of lightning hit dad's shed which was approx. 3metres away from me i dunno why but i laughed so hard it was not funny. next day when dad seen the camera i got in so much trouble and yeh had to replace it but the whole night was so worth it... Wish i had some images of that night would have been unreal. Great Pics Btw

This is in Rockwall Texas prior to a small tornado outbreak in the next town over near Dallas

And this is at my old house in Monument, Colorado a day before a snow storm, you can see pikes peak in the back ground.
