hmm interesting.. my guy was like that but he grew out of it.. i would say my guy is about the same.. 5.5 inches.. but he's off feeders.. i fed him on one side of the tank and the rest on the other.. i think after a while he was sick of his food trying to be snatched from him so he started to bang everything. i fed him rosie reds and then i switch him over to freezed fried krill which is the same color as the rosies.. i would wet it first and squeeze it a bit so it wouldn't float so much on the surface.. i would get the kelberi alert and then would throw the krill hard in front or near him on the waters surface and he would take it (i would use the head part and a little more.. i would cut it so that its a longish straight piece.. after a while i seen him trying to steal the little cut pieces that i feed to the others. now he takes anything freeze fried krill... and he also throws the others a beating if they attempt to both him... maybe give what i said a try.. hope it helps

I will have to work on that. Ive tried it a little but the others have gotten so trained on my hands that they follow me hardcore, and even if I do get them seperated that mono is a rocket lol. He will zip over to the other side so fast when food hits the water that the Kelberi never even sees it. And the Orinos can freakin' eat. at 5" each one of the can damn near eat a whole piece of shrimp, then eat feeders too if I put them in for the Kelberi. They are making it hard for me to get him to learn that I am the one dropping the food in. At this point I usually have to just dump in 5-6 feeders at a time and hope he gets one. Thought stuffing the Orino and Mono on prep food would free him up to eat feeders but thats a negative. No mater how much prep food they get, they will still take 6-7 gutloaded rosies.
 
i tried to feed mine at the same time.. prepped food in one hand and a feeder in the other.. my fish are fast as well and those peru monos are rockets.. i miss my torpedo :( anyways i trained my kelberi by kind of showing him the feeder first and then i tried to train him with a rise up hand motioned which he caught on to after about 2 days... he would come to the top and he knew it was meal time

They are about 5.5" or so
