Yeah it looks like tiny specs of carbon that settles to bottom of the bottle. should i toss the bottle or is this normal?

This is normal for prime.

Your aro has injured itself, may take a few days for it to get back to normal. Add some floating plants to help make it more secure.

It seems more skiddish and has lost its appetite... it only eats 2 pieces of FD krill compared to about 3 whole pieces. So i just have to wait it out or is there something that i can do about it?

by the way thank you for the replies

Great news if it is eating, just continue caring as before. It's behavior will change over time.

First: Don't change water all the time.
Second: Keep the temperature at 79*~83*
Third: The HP gotta be at 7.0 or 7.5.
Fourth: Arowanas hate Air Bubbles!
Fifth: At night please turn off the light because they need to ""SLEEP"" The light just make them Tired.
Sixth: Don't fed to many Comets or any life food to arowanas because the life food bring a lot of bacterias.
Seventh: They need to have tank mates.

This is all the information I got . I been raising the arowanas for 15 years

i do WC every week maybe at most now 30%
temp is about 80-81
HP mean PH? is about 7
have a jar in another tank with a sponge so didnt think that it would matter
lights go on only when i feed or stay on only till finish feeding
i dont feed live food only FD krill and foodsticks
have some IT dats that was thinking of putting with it. gonna keep an eye on the tank if i ever do add them

imo, u need more oxygen. get a powerhead. put another ac110 in there.

i need more oxygen? i got 2 sponge filters one large and a medium:confused: that not enough? need another ac110? only got a single 6" black aro... maybe couple of dats later

how are your other fish acting? I had this happen once and it turned out to be electrical equipment with bad grounding. Just something to check, if he's still eating he should be fine though.
