Just got my new tank and some amazing rare oddballs but the other day a screw just turned and I felt completely differently about having all this money in these fish. I am going to throw it around for awhile before I start a fire sale but the last few days just been awkward. And then yesterday a cuban gar managed to jump out of the tank and that really threw me for a loop. Just kinda venting here

Sorry bout the gar...

You are addicted to fish yet upset, dont think for a second you could actually leave if you wanted to!!!!

Don't make the same mistake again. Speaking from experience...we suck. Don't sell anything man. I haven't sold a fish in months and its the best feeling ever. You'll regret it in a few days.

That said...shotty on my dat :)

I know how you feel dude. From the years of us both posting I think we are very similar. I have scaled back a lot and only keep a few fish that I really cherished. It can be overwhelming when you have so much $ tied up in them. I think you should just scale back and not get out completely.

Please keep me in mind if you decide to get rid of the Azul. I have been looking for some time now.

Hope it works out for you in the end.

the gar didnt put it to this just unfortunately happened the next day. It isn't even really the $$ either. Thats the weird part not really sure why exactly which is why I am not going to just jump ship. Certain things I have I couldn't get rid of so it would just be a step back. I just had big plans for my new tank and now I have no intentions on fullfilling them

LOL thanks for saying im depressed... Actually for the most part im about as upbeat as I have been in a long time and doing tons more things than the last few years which also gives me less time. Don't think its that cause I know I am not LOL
