LOL...good luck.
I have noticed that some people simply hang a bubble ball in the back two corners of the tank. Dosent look too bad.

i tried that but they kept hitting them against the glass...i didnt like that sound..freaked me out.
i put them into my sump.

Try a different type of rock to silicone it too or a tile.

I had the same problem and now I just place a heavy flat rock over the airstones and they don't disturb it plus the bubbles are a little more scattered so more rays get to play in them.

hey trev what if you were to order some wooden air stones and drilled thru them and thru the slate tile and used a plastic bolt but just silicone the hole thru the wooden air stone??? just a thought buddy

you might try a 2 part epoxy like max acr or dow 795 caulk

IF I had that problem I'd go to a 10" bubble disk that required 3/4 line and go straight into a bulkhead fitting, hole in the tank and your done.

Could you try a different silicone? The one you are using might not be adhering that great

never used it but what about marine coral glue? might help

embed the disk in concreat. like the type they use to make 3d dack grounds
