Having got sick of suction cups never staying stuck to the tank decided to silicone seal them to the side of my tank.
On the package it says leave to set for 48 hours, its Geocel aquarium sealant, but I assume this is for fish tanks not just cups on the glass.
So my question is should I really leave my tank half full for 48 hours and wait for it to fully set, or could I fill it up sooner?
I'm thinking 24 hours would plenty, I could happily leave the filters etc off the cups for a few days to make sure theyre fully set, but they wont be taking any great weight anyways.
Thanks for any advice or help (if I leave some on the table it sets like rubber pretty quickly, maybe 12 hours would be enough?)
