just wondering if anyone has ever caught a fish with a lure/hook already in its mouth left over from a previous catch? Or if anyone has ever found a lost lure in the water?

I caught a bass with a lure that I lost the previous day.

i've caught one bass, with an orange worm, still stuck in it's mouth

I've cought a LMB with a tag placed by the DEP on it.in order to study movement and breeding habit's of this type of bass.

ive found tons of tackle and about 3 hooks and one lure stuck on a large skates fins people snag em all the time down here in fort howard

One time I was crappie fishing with roostertails and had a little crappie on when all of a sudden a big bass came up and ate the crappie and actually got hooked. I had 2lb line so needless to say it broke. I picked up my bass rod rigged with a Senko and cast right were the bass was and caught him and got my lure back!

Down south it is popular to use 10-12" texas rigged plastic worms and one time I caught a 10" LMB with a 12" coming out of his @$$, no joke!!

I've caught a juvie bluefish with a massive rusty hook in his throat... he swallowed the thing. the line looked pretty hefty, probably 40lb test and there was about a foot of it hanging out of his mouth... which led me to the conclusion that somebody didnt know how to properly tie their knots. no way that fish would have broken a heavy line like that

Theres a tree by one of the local fishing spots thats so full of red/white bobbins and lures it looks like an xmas tree:D

They pumped down the level of the local resevoir for some dam repairs ive found a bunch of lures on the new shoreline

MY buddy took a pic of this. Me and my buddy nick where jigging the shore line which the shore is all over hangs. He hooks into a fish. As soon as he gives a hook set it snaps his line. He got kinda pissed cuz he lost his jig. So we got to the end of the shore and turn around to go back up it again. He hooks into another fish. Get the fish to the boat and it has his jig way down his throat.
