silly things I think of while on the creek

I get "new" lures all the time. I'm more adventurous than the people who lose them. I'll wade into the water to retrieve a lure from a snapped line, etc.
I caught a fish with a fish the other day. Was out screwing around catching bluegills and saw a huge bass make a dash through the shallow section. He didn't go for any of my swim baits or Senkos, so I caught a small blue gill and cast towards the bass. The LMB ate it up, so I was able to catch a big bass.

I caught a northern pike on a rattling rapala, without actually hooking the fish. He hit the lure so hard that it somehow just got wedged into his mouth. I got him into the boat, and the grabbed the pliers to 'unhook' the litte fella, but all I had to do was pull the lure out. 
While fly fishing I've caught numerous trout that had pre-tied flies on heavy leader still sticking out of their mouths, and I've caught plenty of saltwater fish with hooks/jigs still in place.
i was fishing in a creek near my house with some artificial lure (i forgot which, but it is not important). I ended up snagging it on a small branch, which i reeled in. However, there was some fishing line stuck to that branch, and at the end of the line was another branch. Finally, at the end of all that was a 20" spotted gar. That has to be the coolest thing i have ever snagged 
Next best was probably snagging a $10 spinner bait that i had lost the day before
