silver aro colors ??????????

I was just thinkin as with age it would go to the natural silver.. but if not thats cool too!! :) I have seen another silver from the same Lfs that was aroudn the same colors 9 monhts ago.. And is now SILVER :) But I'll let you know in a around six months if the color holds :)
 
According to what I've read and heard, older silvers eventually lose their silver coloration to one that is white/baige. Big silvers displayed at Chicago's Shedd and Sunshine Aquarium in Tokyo are proofs of this. Overly bright coloration on fish are not always signs of good health as they are also signs of high concentration of nitrate as someone else mentioned in this thread.
 
This is Pinky...named for obvious reasons. She's about 12" and if anything her colors are improving as she grows rather than fading
