On normal condition, fasting behavior usually happen on matured male arowana during the breeding season and not on female.

My female didn't eat for around 2 weeks before dropping her eggs.

does she have a mate? im assuming she can just drop the eggs with out another fish fertilizing them.
will she lay them directly in the other fishes mouth or on the bottom first then the male fertilizes them and scoops them up?

I just turned off 2 FX5's and turned the nozzle on the third towards the corner....very little water flow now!

Not gonna feed til something happens now......like I said approx a week she hasn't eaten.

Hopefully she'll drop them, and one of the other silvers will do his stuff and scoop them.....let's see what happens.
