Yea I never thought about starting from the begining again, but I have too many fish to move them anywhere and the tank would take at least a week to go back to normal.

Have you ever ran a quarantine tank? How big is the tank that would need to be taken down and what's in it? In my opinion Justin, you should hold off on getting an aro (I know it can be hard, they're awesome fish) until you can get the kits you can read, and have corrected whatever is wrong in your tank. If the tank is the same one as in your gallery (that long one) than just a 20 gallon filter is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too small for that tank, especially with an aro in it. (again, this goes back to water quality) and if you have alot of fish in that tank with only that 20 gallon filter, I can't see why your water would be "perfect" like you've said.

yay thats definitly not enough im runing a 150 gallon capacity filter for a fifty and 20 gallon for a 10 for my aro and i still have to do water changes every 3 days
