My silver aro jumped out the tank overnight. Now one coolest fish I've ever had and only one that acted like pet (you can pet them) is dead. Poor thing she was pretty.

Mine did the same thing years ago, luckily I was headed to the restroom and heard it jump and was able to save it. Two steps from my bedroom door to the bathroom door, good timing I guess.

Pretty common with arowanas. Sorry for your loss. Now go get another one! Make sure to cover all the little spaces it can get to. Trust me somehow they can get through like a 3" opening lol
Thats exactly how she did it fed the plecos late last night left the cover about 2-3 inches open and she got through.
I did the same put her in freezer. Wife is like wtf but oh well cant just throw it in the garbage.
