Sorry man, it sucks....a few months ago my male G. brasiliensis jumped out of my planted tank and I was lucky enough to find him before he got stepped on or eaten by my dogs....fortunately he was ok and is doing well. It happens all the time, all we can do is learn from it and move on.

I swear they need hybrid tank tops made for fish but secure enough for snakes - ideal for Morays and Eels, Arros, Parachromis, Polys, Snakeheads - all the jumpers and escape artists
