Silver/Black Aro

I have heard silvers grow faster than blacks...how much faster?
If I were to give them both the same amount of food, how much would each one grow in a month or two?

my black has actually grown at about the same rate as my silver did, but it's slowing down.

I got the black at 12" and the silver at 3"
I've had them at different times, in different tanks, so they dont fight
from 12"-16" the black grew at abou the same rate as the silver did from 6"-12"

I wouldnt keep 2 together, that's how I lost my silver. My big silver killed it.

guess that makes it simple...I'm tryin' to get one of each in the same tank and at the same size to allow them to grow up together...hopefully to discourage any fighting whatsoever. In your expert opinion, do you think this'll work?

maybe for a while, but it just happens overnight.
My 2 silvers were fine for a month, the I woke up and the small one was toast

so then you'd suggest keeping them separate if I do decide to get one of each...
